Capture Method

Step 1: Confirm the appearance of the Elder Infernal Octopus under extreme weather conditions.

Step 1: Ensure Extreme Weather Conditions

To spawn the Juvenile Hellfire Cephalopod, the environment must be in extreme weather (intense fire), and a historical Elder's Hellfire Cephalopod must appear in the wild. You can check the appearing monsters by opening the map and viewing the Environmental Overview. Rest at the campsite to adjust conditions until the requirements are met.

Step 2: Travel to Area 17 to Confirm Spawning

Teleport to Area 17 and watch for the spawning of the Hellfire Cephalopod. This will trigger Alma's line, “Is the Hellfire Cephalopod spawning?” However, Alma may arrive late, so if you don't see her dialogue, just wait a little longer. It's recommended to set nearby mining spots as destinations while in riding mode, allowing the Warhawk to navigate there automatically.

Step 3: Return to the Campsite and Change the Environment to Bountiful Season

The incubation of the Juvenile Hellfire Cephalopod takes some time, so it’s advisable to return to the campsite and rest once to transition into the Bountiful Season.

Step 4: Head Back to Area 17 to Capture the Juvenile Hellfire Cephalopod

At this point, heading back to Area 17 will reveal a multitude of Juvenile Hellfire Cephalopods that have hatched, which you can capture using a net. The Juvenile Hellfire Cephalopods will float in the air, making them easier to capture when approached from a closer distance.
