Frog Monster Overview
The Frog Monster in Monster Hunter Wilds boasts nearly 30 large creatures upon its initial launch, each featuring unique habitats, weaknesses, and rare materials they drop. Below, we present a comprehensive guide to all large monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds, including detailed introductions, locations, weaknesses, obtaining methods, drop rates, and an in-depth analysis of their attacks. We hope this helps you in your hunting adventures.
Frog Monster Details
The Frog Monster, a type of amphibian, uses its long tongue to lick various substances and prey on creatures like Blood Thieving Bugs. When excited, the Frog Monster rubs its developed forelimbs against the ground. Its forelimbs are coated with sticky saliva, enabling it to adhere to stones and soil, thereby expanding its attack range and destructive power. This characteristic is the source of its name, "Frog Monster."
Location
It can be found in the Abyssal Sands.
Weakness
The Frog Monster's weakness lies in its exposed long tongue. Attacking this weak point can inflict significantly greater damage but comes with an increased risk due to its defensive capabilities.
Introduction
The two forelimbs of the Entangled Frog are the destructible parts. Once destroyed, you can obtain the rarest material, Entangled Frog's Armor, which has only a 15% chance of dropping when defeated normally.

Combat Strategy
Right Front Claw Strike
This move has a clear wind-up, where Froggy raises its right claw and slams it down towards the ground, causing knockback to the player hit. There is ample time to evade due to the pronounced wind-up.
Bite and Tongue Spin
When using this move, Froggy shows a noticeable wind-up by sticking out its tongue and opening its mouth. It first bites forward before spinning its tongue in a circle. The wind-up is distinct, so players should distance themselves from the monster as soon as they see the tongue action.
Dash Attack
[Insert additional strategy content for the Dash Attack here.]
Understanding the Encroaching Frog's Attack Pattern
Before using this move, the Encroaching Frog demonstrates a clear charging state. Upon observing this charging, swiftly evade to the sides. After the charge is complete, the Encroaching Frog will dash forward and inflict continuous damage.
Jump and Slam
Before executing this move, the Encroaching Frog will display a significant preparatory shake of its rear. Upon witnessing this animation, quickly move to either side of the Encroaching Frog to avoid the attack. Once the charging is complete, the frog will leap into the air and slam down in front.

Firetail Dragon Hunting Tips
Firetail Dragons rarely engage in active hunting; instead, they prefer scavenging on the carcasses of herbivorous monsters captured by others. They often compete with smaller carnivorous dragons for their prey.
Location
The Firetail Dragon can be found in the "Heavenly Abyss Sands."
Weaknesses
The weakness of the Firetail Dragon is its neck area, making it a challenge to attack normally. It is advisable to first target breakable parts to create wounds and wait for the dragon to fall, then unleash full attacks on its weaknesses.
The Firetail Dragon's head and tail can both be destroyed. Destroying its head will guarantee the material "Firetail Dragon Crown," while breaking its tail will yield "Firetail Dragon Tail."

Combat Strategies
Tail Sweep
The Flame Tail Dragon prepares this attack by raising its hindquarters, and during this motion, sparks will visibly fly from its tail. When you see these sparks, immediately move away from the direction the dragon's head is facing to evade the attack.
Tail Slam
Before using this attack, the Flame Tail Dragon will swing its tail while raising it high. It then rapidly slams its tail down to the ground, leaving ample reaction time from when the tail is lifted to when it strikes.
Charge
This attack has a subtle wind-up. After a brief charge, the Flame Tail Dragon will sprint straight toward its target. Just before impact, it will slam its head down onto the ground. Exploiting the recovery phase of this attack can allow you to deal significant damage to its weak spots.
```Head Smash
This attack has a noticeable recovery time. First, the Fiery Tail Dragon will hum while lifting its head high without moving from its spot. Upon noticing this wind-up, immediately move away from the direction the Fiery Tail Dragon is facing. After the wind-up ends, the Fiery Tail Dragon will slam its head down, causing area damage.
Front Bite
The Fiery Tail Dragon will widen its mouth while lifting its head. Upon seeing this wind-up, move away from the area in the direction the Fiery Tail Dragon is facing. After the wind-up finishes, it will bite in its line of sight.
Spinning Thrust
When the Fiery Tail Dragon is about to use this attack, it will lower its head and tail while letting out a roar to charge up. Once the wind-up is complete, it will propel itself towards its line of sight, biting first and then following up with a tail swipe combo.
刺花蜘蛛
刺花蜘蛛是棲息於緋紅森林的鉗角種怪物,它以舞者般的旋轉移動為特點。其體液含有麻痹神經成分,與水混合後會在腹部形成花瓣狀的紅色絨毛。興奮時,腹部會像一朵巨大的紅花般展開,因此得名“刺花蜘蛛”。這些生物會將體液與水的混合物如蒲公英般撒出,使接觸到的獵物或敵人麻痹,然後將其捕獲。
出現位置
緋紅森林、龍都遺蹟。
弱點
刺花蜘蛛的弱點是尾巴上的針。當刺花蜘蛛進入疲勞狀態時,針會完全露出來,而尾部的花瓣狀部位與兩隻前爪都是可以被破壞的。
Counter Strategies Against Attacks
One-Handed Claw Strike
The spider will extend one of its arms and charge up for a few seconds before executing a fast forward attack. When you see the initial wind-up, quickly move sideways to dodge.
This attack is the most frequently used by the Thorny Spider, and it can also have a double hit variant.
Forelimb Spike
Spider Attacks and Movements
Before using this move, the spider will raise one of its legs and remain stationary for a brief period. After the charge-up state ends, it will slam the raised leg down onto the ground. When you see the initial movement, quickly sidestep to avoid the attack.
Tail Stab
The thorn spider will raise its rear and expose its tail spikes. After a brief charge-up, it will slam its tail down onto the ground, causing small area damage. This is the easiest attack to avoid since the initial movement is not very obvious.
Blooming Red Flowers
After a short charge-up, the thorn spider will open its small red flowers and shoot out many red petals that induce paralysis. If players come into contact with the petals, they will accumulate the paralysis status. When the status in the top left corner fills up slowly, the player will enter a state of paralysis and cannot move, so it is crucial to dodge the trajectory of the red flowers.
Double Claw Slam
(Details about the double claw slam attack will be added here.)
Peach Fur Beast Overview
The Peach Fur Beast, a large monster of the toothy beast species, is characterized by its crown and pink fur. The crown is actually made of hair, secured by the juices of grass and fruits, symbolizing a mature male. They primarily inhabit warm forests and are relatively abundant in terms of both individual numbers and research records. With a hearty appetite, they especially enjoy mushrooms. They can temporarily alter their breath characteristics by consuming mushroom components, producing breath attacks with effects such as poison, explosion, and paralysis.
Location
Crimson Forest, Dragon City Ruins.
Combat Strategy
The Spiny Spider opens its two front claws to charge up before slamming down toward the ground. There is a certain reaction time during the wind-up animation, so it's crucial to roll sideways as soon as you see this animation rather than rolling forward or backward.
Weakness and Destructible Parts
The weakness of the Peach Fur Beast King is its rear. Additionally, its head, front legs, and tail can be destroyed.
Combat Techniques
Front Claw Attack
The Peach Fur Beast King quickly raises its front claw towards the direction it is facing with a very short wind-up. This attack is fast, so you need to quickly move away or defend the moment you see the front claw being raised.
Front Claw Pounce
Peach Fur Beast King: Charge Attack
The Peach Fur Beast King raises its hands high to charge up, and after a brief moment, it slams down towards the ground. The wind-up is quite obvious, and players have ample time to dodge after seeing the start of the attack.
Peach Fur Beast King: Stinky Gas Spray 1
Accompanied by a few low roars, the Peach Fur Beast King's head sinks in, and yellow gas starts to appear in its mouth. Once fully charged, it opens its mouth wide and exhales a large amount of yellow gas in the direction of its sight, dealing damage and applying a debuff. The wind-up for this move is also quite obvious, and players positioned on either side of the monster's mouth will not be spared. Upon noticing the wind-up, players should slightly move to the sides and continue attacking.
Peach Fur Beast King: Stinky Gas Spray 2
The Peach Fur Beast King stands upright, and its belly suddenly enlarges. After a brief wind-up, it sprays a large amount of yellow gas forward. This is one of the most obvious wind-up attacks; players should immediately dodge to the back of the monster and continue attacking.
Foul Smell Spray 1 (After)
The Palamute Beast King performs a small jump in place, lifting its tail and rear slightly. In a very concealed manner, it suddenly releases a foul smell spray from its rear. This attack is often seen when players are circling behind the monster. Pay close attention to this small jump before the move.
Foul Smell Spray 2 (After)
The Palamute Beast King switches to a standing posture, roaring while spreading its claws. At this point, the creature will also start releasing a large amount of yellow gas from its rear. The danger of this attack lies in its similarity to other charge attacks during the pre-move phase, which can mislead players.
Rolling Pounce
Initially, the Palamute Beast King emits a low roar, opens its claws, and briefly charges up. It then pounces forward and rolls, causing damage. The best time to evade this attack is during the charge-up phase preceding the pounce. After performing this move, the Palamute Beast King has a significant recovery time, offering an opportunity to attack its weak points.
Jump Attack
The 桃毛獸王 (Mau Mau King) gathers its four legs together, lowers its head, and after a brief charge, leaps forward in the direction it is facing. When you see this wind-up, move directly toward the Mau Mau King’s location and wait for it to finish the leap before continuing to attack.
Four-Paw Quick Attack
The 桃毛獸王 (Mau Mau King) takes on a stance as shown in the image below and swiftly strikes forward with its four paws in quick succession. After four strikes, it will fall over into a brief recovery state. You need to react quickly to the wind-up and immediately enter a dodge or defense state, then attack during its recovery phase.
Strategies Against Sand Dragon Attacks
Ranged Attack
When the Sand Dragon raises its upper body and charges up, it briefly leans forward and then spews out a large amount of goo in the direction it's facing. This action has a short wind-up speed, so you need to react quickly; getting hit will inflict a DEBUFF.
Bite Attack
Before using this move, the Sand Dragon noticeably opens its mouth to charge up. This wind-up is very evident; upon seeing the wind-up, quickly defend or evade.
Tail Sweep
This attack usually occurs when the player continuously circles behind the Sand Dragon. It will momentarily stop, lift its tail slightly to aim at the player, and its head will also tilt toward the player’s side. As soon as this motion occurs, expect a tail sweep, so be vigilant of this action when attacking the tail.
Jumping Pounce
The Sand Serpent coils itself up, and during this motion, it does not deal damage to players. After the preparation, the Sand Serpent burrows underground and waits for a few seconds before re-emerging on the other side.
This move is very effective, as the time spent underground is sufficient for players to walk far away from the area.
Tail Slam Charge
The Sand Serpent arches its body, with its tail and head coming close together in an S shape. After a brief charge, a segment of its tail will charge directly toward the direction where the monster is facing.
When you see this wind-up, be sure to dodge quickly to the sides; otherwise, you will take a huge amount of damage.
Sand Pit
Before using this move, the Sand Serpent will roar a few times and then burrow under the sand to create a massive sand pit. A few seconds later, the Sand Serpent will jump out from the center of the pit to attack players.
Creating Quick Sand Pits
When creating sand pits, immediately distance yourself from the area, as the margin for error in defense or evasion is quite low.
The Sanguin Beast
Monster Information
The Sanguin Beast, known for its sturdy body, sometimes acts in packs. They have a propensity to grab nearby smaller monsters and throw them at targets, which gives them a reputation for fierce aggression, hence their name "Sanguin Beast."
Packs of Sanguin Beasts might drag captured prey back to their den, but this behavior can also lead to conflicts within the group.
Location
Found in the Abyssal Sand Plains, Crimson Forest, and Dragon Ruins.
Weakness
The Sanguin Beast's weak point is its abdomen, while breaking its tail and front legs can yield specific materials.
Strategies to Counter Attacks
Front Paw Strike
Prior to using this attack, the Beast will stand up and briefly charge its attacking paw before pouncing on the prey in its line of sight.
Paw Slash
This attack has a range limited to the side where the Beast raises its paw. Before attacking, the Beast briefly pauses with its paw raised; you can avoid this attack by simply stepping back slightly.
Bite
The Beast lets out a loud roar and then immediately turns to attack the player. Pay special attention to the initial roar; if you're not cautious and fail to evade, it will be very difficult to escape the subsequent bite.
Head Sweep
The Beast moves its head side to side in a sweeping motion. This attack can catch players off guard if they are too close.
Dinogator Attack Overview
The Dinogator will first let out a roar and then sweep its head close to the ground in a circle. Most of the Dinogator’s moves are preceded by a roar, so it’s crucial to observe its head closely. This attack has a small range, making it easy to dodge by simply stepping back.
Roar Charge
The Dinogator lets out a loud roar and then arches its body to charge up, sprinting towards its target a few seconds later in a short distance. It requires timely movement to the side to avoid this attack, as dodging from the front proves to be quite challenging.
Tail Sweep
[Description of Tail Sweep Attack]
Monster Hunter Wilds: Effective Strategies Against Notable Attacks
This move has almost no wind-up time, requiring players to be very familiar with monsters to anticipate attacks. The Marsh Chaser swings its tail at high speed to perform a sweeping attack.
Single Claw Attack
The Marsh Chaser attacks players by swiftly swinging its front claws with almost no wind-up. Players should be especially cautious of the enemy’s claw movements during combat.
Energy Explosion
The Marsh Chaser inserts its tail into the oil mud and begins channeling energy, causing an explosion at a nearby location. The area about to explode will be indicated by smoke, so players should move away in advance.
Forward Claw Strike
The Marsh Chaser stands upright, raises its front claws, and starts charging. After a few seconds, it will strike directly at the target player. The wind-up is longer and more obvious, making it easier to dodge.
煌雷龍
Monster Information
The 煌雷龍 is a flying dragon species that rules the ecological system of the Sandstorm Cliff. It has adapted to thunderous sandstorms, and most sightings have been reported during these storms. Its powerful electric abilities make its discharge attacks extremely threatening. The 煌雷龍 possesses a strong territorial instinct and will actively attack any intruders. The sound produced by the friction of its azure thunder crystals and armor can alert nearby monsters.
Location
Sandstorm Cliff.
Weaknesses
The weakness of the 煌雷龍 is its head, while the head and both wings are breakable parts. The tail can be severed individually, and breaking or severing any of the above parts will yield valuable materials.
How to Counter Techniques
Single Wing Slash: Hikari Thunder Dragon flies into the air sideways, then thrusts its wing into the ground, moving toward the target. The area affected by the wing slash will cause damage.
This technique also has a landing version, but the range and speed are clearly inferior to the aerial version.
Double Horn Stab
The Kouraylong will take a few steps back, spreading its wings and lowering its center of gravity. Its head will start charging, and after a few seconds, it will directly stab toward its target, causing damage. This attack has a noticeable wind-up time and a long charging period, giving players ample time to decide whether to dodge or defend and look for opportunities.
Tail Smash
This move typically occurs when players consistently circle behind the Kouraylong. Before executing this attack, the Kouraylong will raise its rear and lift its back legs, then immediately use its tail to smash down onto the ground. When you see its tail being lifted, be ready to defend or dodge; just moving a little to the side of the tail will suffice.
Flying Thunder Strike
The Kouraylong charges up and then suddenly flies into the air to charge again, aiming at its target before launching a powerful long-range electric attack. This attack is quite easy to evade; you can move away as soon as you see the wind-up, allowing players to anticipate where the enemy is targeting.
內容:Introduction to Monster Hunter Wilds Large Monsters
This move also has a grounded version, which has a faster charging speed, requiring players to react quickly.
Skyward Smash
This move has a noticeable backward step before executing. When you see the Shimmering Thunder Dragon suddenly leaning back mid-flight, it indicates that it is about to charge for a ground smash, so prepare to defend or evade.
```Spider Threats in Monster Hunter Wilds
The Shadow Spider will suddenly rear up, then charge a large amount of webbing at the target area. Getting hit by this web will result in being trapped.
Backstep Web Shoot
This attack poses a significant threat. The Shadow Spider will suddenly shift its weight back and arch its body, then perform a large backstep while shooting a strand of web towards the player. Once caught, it will follow up with a long pincers combo attack. It is recommended to evade immediately upon seeing the forward motion and call your mount to change position. After the pincers attack, take your chance to strike during the recovery phase.
Web Dash
The Shadow Spider will suddenly lean back and shoot a strand of web in the direction it is facing, then execute a short-distance dash towards the web. All you need to do is stay out of the Shadow Spider's vision area.
Long Pincer Combo Attack
This skill requires caution, as the Shadow Spider will unleash a series of pincer attacks. Understanding the pattern of these attacks will be crucial for evading damage effectively.
Shadow Spider's Powerful Moves: Strategy and Tips
The Shadow Spider grows larger and its two pincers extend sequentially, gathering energy. Once charged, the monster will bring its pincers together to deal damage. The wind-up is lengthy, and as long as you aren't caught in the spider silk, you can generally avoid it. The recovery time is also quite evident, providing a chance to attack with full force.
Double Pincer Attack
Before executing this move, the spider will raise its pincers to charge. After completing the charge, it will attack in the direction it is facing. As soon as you see this charging motion, it's the perfect time to evade by circling around.
Pounce
The Shadow Spider shifts its center of gravity, standing tall on its two hind legs, before briefly charging and then pouncing towards its line of sight. This is a move that is relatively easy to dodge.
It's important to note that this move also has a hind leg version.
Climbing and Spitting Silk
Spider Attacks
Before performing this action, the spider will look up and gaze at the ceiling. It will then briefly move forward and cling to the ceiling, releasing a series of threads towards its target. As soon as you see this forward movement, immediately call your mount and start moving away.
Stealth Webbing Attack
The Shadow Spider will suddenly burrow into the web, only able to be triggered at fixed locations with webs. When you see the monster burrowing down, call your mount to move away and wait for the spider to emerge.

Monster Hunter Wilds: How to Counter the Windrake's Moves
The Windrake has a very swift move known as the "Thrust." In this attack, the Windrake will charge up in mid-air, suddenly maneuver its body upwards, rotate, and then immediately thrust towards its target.
Evading the Windrip Dragon's Attack
Upon seeing the Windrip Dragon's pre-attack motion, you must immediately start dodging and move away from your previous position. After using this move, the Windrip Dragon will momentarily bury its head into the ground, rendering it immobile. This is the perfect opportunity to unleash a full-on attack.
Continuous Spit
The Windrip Dragon will first spin in the air, then extend its wings from its head to charge up while targeting its prey. After that, it will unleash a series of ranged attacks towards the target.
Melee Triple Strike
The attack sequence includes 1 claw strike followed by 2 bites. The Windrip Dragon will lift its claws up and charge, then swing down for a claw strike before quickly biting the target twice. There will be a 2-second pause between the bites, so escaping and defending requires good rhythm and strategy.
Tail Whip
This attack is executed by swinging its tail directly in the air, with no prior movements. Players should be especially cautious when the enemy is airborne.
Rolling Attack
The ground attack features the Wind Shear Dragon curling its body into an S-shape after landing. After a brief charge, it performs a rolling attack in the direction it is facing. The distance of the roll is short, allowing for direct defense or a rolling evade.
Herculean Beast
The Herculean Beast is characterized by its back covered in developed carapace. It can attach molten metal to its surface, accumulating heat through continuous friction, which can lead to explosions. In a high-temperature state, it can even melt the ground and bullets.

Introduction
The metallic components on the shell of the Herculean Beast are speculated to be the reason it accumulates such high thermal energy during friction. Its arms are also incredibly strong, allowing it to scale heights for a three-dimensional movement, which means you must stay vigilant above during hunts.
Location
Oily Valley, Dragon City Ruins.
Weaknesses
The weak point of the Herculean Beast is the area on its posterior where there are no armored scales. The back scales can be destroyed, and the tail can be severed, providing materials from all these parts.

Attack Countermeasures
Ground Slam
The Harsor Beast will suddenly stand and raise its hands to gather energy, then slam down onto the ground causing area damage. After the Harsor Beast performs the ground slam, it has a few seconds of recovery making it a good opportunity to attack.
Single Claw Strike
The Harsor Beast raises one claw and immediately attacks the target. This attack is not very fast, making dodging and defending relatively easy.
Rock Throw
The Harsor Beast will insert one arm into the ground to gather energy and then continuously throw two rocks at the player. There is a 2-second interval between the two attacks, so it's easy to dodge if you time it right.
Side Lunge Attack
Hecatryx's Attack Patterns
The Hecatryx stands up and positions half of its body towards the target, preparing to slam the ground from the side as shown in the image below. After this, it will perform a ground lunge towards the target over a short distance. For many beginner players, the second hit of this attack is the most likely to cause trouble. It is advisable to move away upon seeing this move, and wait until the attack is completed before approaching to deal damage.
Two-hit Roar Combo
With only a single roar as a precursor, the Hecatryx strikes the ground twice at a moderate speed out of dissatisfaction. Afterward, players should step back to dodge and then move forward to deal damage.
Tail Strike
The Hecatryx crawls on the ground, looking at the target with its head aimed in that direction. Its tail forms an S-shape as it charges up, then it strikes down with its tail directly at the target. This attack has a shorter wind-up and is quite distinct. Being aware of the wind-up allows players to effectively dodge and respond to the move.
Magma Attack [Red Hot State]
The Hecatondys inserts its hand into the ground and begins to charge up, causing its whole body and the ground to emit a red glow. Once charging is complete, the Hecatondys unleashes a massive magma attack in the nearby area. Move away from the front of the Hecatondys to avoid the subsequent magma.
Ground Impale [Red Hot State]
Known for its zero frame startup, the Hecatondys thrusts its arm into the ground and then immediately charges forward briefly in the direction it is facing. As soon as you see the hand inserting into the ground, move away. This attack has hit detection from the sides and behind.
Double Hand Slam [Red Hot State]
When on its feet, the Hecatondys raises its hands to charge up and slam them down. In this state, the slam will also cause a straight line of magma to erupt forward, so make sure to dodge to the sides and behind.
Peak Slam
The Hecatondys unleashes a powerful slam from above, dealing significant damage if you are caught in the attack. Keep an eye on its movements and position yourself to avoid this devastating blow.

Overview of the Infernal Cephalopod
The Infernal Cephalopod reigns as the apex species in the oil surge valley ecosystem. Typically covered in thick oil sludge, it transforms into a raging inferno when agitated. It is speculated that its visible eyeball and the eye-like tips of its tentacles serve as sensory organs to perceive the surrounding environment, although this remains unconfirmed.
Location
Found in the oil surge valley.
Weaknesses
The Infernal Cephalopod's weakness lies in its not-so-obvious mouth. The monster's head can be destroyed, and its posterior can be severed, both yielding a higher drop rate for materials.

Combat Techniques Against the Infernal Octopus
Piercing Attack
The Infernal Octopus raises its first two tentacles and then charges quickly towards the player. Due to its large size, you'll need to adjust your position as soon as you notice it starting to charge.
Tentacle Whip
The Infernal Octopus lifts a tentacle glowing with blue light, briefly charges up, and then whips it directly at the target. If you see this tentacle, you can either wait to defend or dodge in advance, as you have sufficient time.
Front Body Slam
Details about this attack will follow, providing players with more insights and strategies for overcoming the challenges posed by the Infernal Octopus.
Infernal Octopus Attack Patterns
The Infernal Octopus curls its body and maintains a standing position before lunging forward after a brief charge. There is no damage detection from its sides or rear, allowing players to attack safely.
Head-tilted Flame Breath
This attack is used when the Infernal Octopus enters a ignited state. It first stands up and makes a clear head-tilting motion to charge before unleashing a massive amount of flames towards the target. Due to its wide area of effect, it's advisable to summon your mount and move away from the area immediately after witnessing the preliminary movement.
Fireball Eruption
This attack is also unleashed when the Infernal Octopus is ignited. Initially, it arches its body for about two seconds to charge, then rapidly spreads all its tentacles to launch numerous fireballs in all directions. The density and range of the fireballs are considerable, so it's best to call your mount to escape the area around the monster as soon as you notice the preliminary motion, and wait for the attack to conclude before approaching again.

Single Claw Strike
The Guardian Beast rises and lifts a single claw to charge, then slams it down directly onto the target, continuing to dash forward.
This attack has multiple damage phases, and if caught, it can deal significant damage. Therefore, it’s essential to roll away as soon as you see the initial animation. There’s also a variation of this move where the claw doesn’t bury into the ground and simply slams down.
Ground Charge
This move is similar to the side charge of the Hedgehog Beast. The Guardian Beast first lies its head down and then immediately charges towards the target.
The wind-up is very short yet noticeable; as soon as you see its head drop, you can anticipate this attack. At that moment, it’s best to roll to the sides to avoid it.
Multi-Stage Charge
This move's preparation is similar to a dog standing upright in reality, with its arms curled in and legs standing while its head leans forward. After a brief pause, it charges directly towards its line of sight, causing multiple hits.
When you see the posture depicted in the image below, immediately move to the side or behind and wait for the move to finish.
Ground Slam
The Guardian Beast stands upright, its arms spread wide and radiating white light. After charging up, it slams the ground, causing area damage. This move has a large range, so you need to dodge right away.
Fire Guardian Dragon
Monster Information
The Fire Guardian Dragon is a dragon-type creature created by ancient civilizations, infused with the power of fire. It has no reproductive capability and does not hunt, relying on the absorption of dragon milk as its energy source.
Fire Dragon's Abilities
The Fire Dragon possesses flying abilities that are equally exceptional as its original species, launching claw attacks from the air that are more ferocious than those of its predecessor.
Location
The Fire Dragon can be found in an ancient dragon ruins.
Weaknesses

Skill Response Strategies
Flying Claw Strike
Before using this move, the Fire Dragon will lower its center of gravity, then quickly ascend into the sky, exposing its claws to attack the target area. The move has a wide range and appears to have a landing area hitbox, so it's advisable to summon a mount for evasion.
Bite
This attack has virtually no wind-up, as the monster simply moves its head towards the target for a quick bite. The damage isn’t high, so plan your evasion based on your weapon—whether to trigger precise defense or roll away.
Fire Breath
This section will detail the moves and strategies related to fire breath attacks, focusing on evasion techniques and counter-attacks.
Introduction to Fire Dragon Attacks
Before using this move, the Fire Dragon will clearly show sparks in its mouth and exhibit a low-head stance for a notable preparation time. During this time, you can easily move to the side of its head for continued attacks.
Skyward Fireball Combo
The Fire Dragon ascends into the air, and numerous sparks appear in its mouth. After a brief charge, it unleashes a series of fireballs toward its target. At this moment, you can directly ride your mount and move around, making it difficult for the fireballs to hit you.
Aerial Tail Sweep
The Fire Dragon flies high into the air and raises its tail. After charging, it brings its tail down toward the target, causing area damage. When you see the Fire Dragon take flight, summon your mount to move quickly. During this time, you are unlikely to be hit by the dragon, ensuring your safety.
Stomp Attack
The Fire Dragon makes a powerful stomp that can deal significant damage to nearby hunters. Ensure you maintain a safe distance when this move is initiated.
Frostpeak Dragon Overview
The Frostpeak Dragon, a sea dragon species, reigns at the apex of the ice mist cliffs ecosystem. Known for its massive body that moves slowly in extreme cold, it derives its name from its ability to create ultra-low temperatures using cooling organs throughout its body. This not only allows its limbs to freeze with frost, enabling it to maneuver effortlessly on steep cliffs and floating rocks but also serves as a formidable weapon for launching fierce attacks.
Attack Strategy
When using this move, the Frostfire Dragon's lower claw will emit white flames, briefly hovering in the air before crashing down to cause area damage. When you see the claws emitting white gas and the dragon leaping into the air, quickly distance yourself from that area as this move also allows the Frostfire Dragon to remain stationary for a moment.
Location
The Frostpeak Dragon can be found in the ice mist cliffs.

Combat Strategies
Fatal Strike
The Frostfang Dragon will raise its claws and stand, charging up before slamming down directly in front of it, causing area damage. Since the Frostfang Dragon's movements are relatively slow, players should step back as soon as they see it start this action.
Bite Attack
The Frostfang Dragon turns its head towards the target and opens its mouth, charging for about 2 seconds before biting towards the target. The attack type can be easily identified by the state of the dragon's mouth.
Charge
The Frostfang Dragon raises one claw and roars while charging up, then darts directly toward the target. Due to its large size, its charging speed is not very fast, making it easy to evade by moving to the side.
Claw Strike
The Frostfang Dragon places its claws in front of its chest, and the claws become encased in ice. After a short charge, it strikes directly to the side with its claws.
Tail Attack
Before using this move, the Frostfang Dragon noticeably swings its tail while remaining stationary, and its head will look towards the location it is about to attack. At this moment, it is best to move away to avoid the attack.
Icy Breath
This move starts with zero frames of preparation, showing almost no charge-up action. The mouth does not reveal any white mist until it is launched. The breath attack will fire straight out once, then horizontally. The best time to dodge is right at the start of the straight breath, and then seek cover to avoid the second horizontal breath.
Big Explosion
The Frostfang Dragon unleashes a powerful explosion in its vicinity. Make sure to maintain distance during this attack to avoid devastating damage.
The Frostfang Dragon's Instant Kill Move
The Frostfang Dragon, after a brief charge, will envelop itself in ice. During this time, rocky cover will also appear on the battlefield. Players need to hide behind the cover and wait for the attack to finish. If the charge ends and you haven't entered the cover, you will be instantly killed.

How to Counter Attacks
Bite Puncture
The pre-motion of this attack is obvious as the Raging Razorclaw opens its large mouth wide, charging up with red lightning. After 2-3 seconds, it dashes straight towards the target position.
Rolling Claw Strike
The Raging Razorclaw shifts its weight to the right and opens its blood-red mouth, briefly charging before jumping into the air to strike the opponent with its claws, then landing behind the target due to inertia.
Rolling Double Strike
First, the Raging Razorclaw stands up to charge, then it performs a claw attack on the target followed by a tail swipe, executing a double strike combination.
Spinning Attack
The Raging Razorclaw lowers its center of gravity and charges briefly before lunging at the opponent and quickly returning to its original position.
Single Claw Strike
This is a very standard move where you lift your claw to charge and then swing it. There are no special effects, and the wind-up is noticeably slow.

Piercing Strike
The Abnormal Octopus begins to power up with its head down and then charges towards the player at a faster speed while rotating. You need to predict the enemy's landing point in advance and dodge in the opposite direction.
Whip Spin
This is the most commonly used move. The Abnormal Octopus charges its tentacles in the position shown below, then attacks by spinning around. You can evade by blocking or rolling.
Single Whip Attack
A single attack where it lashes out with its tentacles. This move has a long attack range and is relatively fast, making it easy to overlook while still capable of causing chain reactions.

Attack Method Responses
Retreating Lockjaw Strike
The Lockjaw Dragon will first raise its side limbs to gather strength, then leap and use a retreating step to fling its chains towards the target. The attack range is not very large, so just a slight movement will allow you to evade the attack.
Single-Claw Chain Attack
This is a more commonly used move. The Lockjaw Dragon will curl up its wings and chains to gather strength, then swing them directly towards the player. As soon as you see the initial movement, be prepared to defend or dodge.
Chain Whip Strike
The Lockjaw Dragon swiftly whips its chains in a wide arc. To avoid this attack, maintain your distance and be ready to roll or dodge.
Chained Dragon's Initial Attack
The Chained Dragon starts with an instant move, raising its arm and swinging downwards to whip the chain at the player. The chain is relatively thin and has a small attack range, but predicting its landing point is challenging, and the startup animation is brief, making it easy to react too late. You need to practice repeatedly to develop muscle memory to dodge effectively.
This summoning also has a two-hit variant, where the monster attacks twice with different claws.
Chain Thrust
The Chained Dragon jumps into the air and positions itself as shown below. It then whips the chain towards the target location, executing a dash before swinging the chain. You can dodge this attack using the terrain, but the startup is not very noticeable, which makes it easy to get caught off guard.
Tail Swipe
The Chained Dragon begins with an instant move and has almost no startup animation. Dodging this attack is extremely difficult, and you need a certain level of muscle memory and proficiency with your weapon to respond effectively.
Lock Blade Blast
This is a lock blade attack that does not require the player to swing the dual claws. After the Lock Blade Dragon swings one of its blades, it temporarily enters a vulnerable state. An explosion will occur shortly at the location where the blade was swung. Therefore, it's crucial to move away from the blade's location immediately, even if you were not hit by it.
Furious Roar
With a high-pitched roar, the Lock Blade Dragon's body ignites with white flames, which then quickly turn red, causing a massive area explosion in front of it. We need to move away from the front of the Lock Blade Dragon before the flames change to red.
Chain Jump
The Lock Blade Dragon first extends its white chains and emits white flames. After a brief charge-up, it jumps into the air and executes lock blade attacks on the ground in an irregular path.
Lockblade Dragon's Wide-Range Attack
When you see the Lockblade Dragon unleashing its blades surrounded by white flames, it's usually a wide-range attack. You must immediately prepare to defend or summon a mount to retreat.
Three-Hit Combo of the Lockblade Dragon
The Lockblade Dragon begins to charge with its body tilted, executing a two-part slashing attack in front. It then jumps into the air and performs a heavy strike downwards with its blades. This move has an extremely wide damage range, both in front and from the side. Once you see the initial posture, it’s advisable to call your mount to escape from the Lockblade Dragon’s vicinity to avoid the attack.

Location

Weakness
The incandescent dragon has no specific weakness, but its head, wings, and front legs can be damaged. The tail can be targeted separately, and all mentioned parts have a higher probability of dropping materials.
